: INFOLAB BUSINESS - INSTALLATION

Introduction

The purpose of this Document is to describe how to INSTALL your IES Business Server.

Installing  Business Server

Prerequisite: - Your INFOLAB Enterprise Server must already be installed.

You need to download component ‘s3’ from the DOWNLOADS page at www.infolab.cc , and unzip it to your D3Virtual folder. Then rename it as ‘pseudo0’, and restore it as ‘infolabB’ . On the tape it is called ‘infolabB’ as well.

Once the ‘infolabB’ DataMart has been restored, please do:

update-md infolabB

Hint: For Windows platforms, it is recommended that the new DataMart be restored in FSI rather than the VME.

Once the DataMart has been restored as ‘infolabB’, you need to simply include a DataMart definition object in IES, at Systems Administration, DataMarts Define (it is probably already there). Then ensure you have access to the new DataMart on your User Master Profile, and you should be able to use the new IES Business DataMart.

Usually, this DataMart already contains a simple setup, inclusive of some demonstration Data. To apply it for your Company, you will use the Setup Wizard found at Accounting Controls.

Hint: Multiple instances of the Business DataMart are allowed. Simply call them infolabB2, infolabB3, etc.
